I was interviewing for a job once in the health care profession.

The interviewing nurse had just completed a huge speech about sterility and sanitary environment and all of that. The last part of the speech was air quality.

Right then and there, as she finished the air quality speech, I ripped a fart of epic proportions which quickly cleared the room.

Damn the onion rings, I didn't get the job.

when I was 16 I had an interview at Burger King (my first job besides babysitting) and in the middle of the interview I got the hiccups and I couldn't stops them. The manager gave me water and Spirit. I went to the restroom for a few minutes to try to hold my breath and stuff to stop them but they never stopped. We finished the interview and I got the job but I hiccupped for about 45 minutes. EMBARRASSING!

Dumbest thing I ever said was nothing. I couldn't answer the question I just shrugged. Still got the job though.

Told my interviewer not to ask any more question as I was having a hangover from the previous night. But then I was lucky, my job contract was sent to me by courier three days later.

This was an interview for a scholarship and not a job.

The scholarship was offered by Electric Boat (they make submarines for the Navy.)

Question: Do you think we need to keep building submarines?

Me: No, we have enough already.

I knew of an opening, so I asked for an application.
They said they were'nt hiring and refused the app.

I walked down the hallway and knocked on the general manager's
office door. (secretary was screaming as she followed)
He asked me, "What the hell is going on?" ...I quoted the secretary and the "law."
Got the job.

I did'nt think that was dumb...others did.

Well, I applied at Burger King and I didn't know it at the time, but my dad wrote, "Please hire me, I need to get out of the house and away from my dad!" on the application. So, that is why they never called me back. Not an interview but if it wasn't because of that, maybe I would have gotten one.

the place i was applying for my boyfriend worked there too. so i told the two manager`s i would only make out with my boyfriend when it was slow and when i was on break. but i got the job anyway`s. and ended up quitting about a month later.
