It is the right thing to do.
Maybe you shouldn't attack us.
As Japan what happen to them after Pearl Harbor.

Going through all the answers I have come to the conclusion that all the Americans and others hate Islamic countrys and Muslims. The reasons are very irrational, they are biased and instead of looking at other atrocities carried out by some nations in the past ,these people tend to generalise. The result are anwers which are without any foundation .How many do have real knowledge of real basis of a religion ?None .They tend to believe in hearsay.
To try quoting Bosnia, etc is illogical.Study history and then answer .Was Hitler a Muslim or Napolean? What about the British atrocities in India?Did Muslims attack Jallianwala Baug? What is happening in Jerusalem? Are the Irish muslims? I assume the Americans were angels, when in the past they ill treated the Africans and called them Black Slaves.Where was slavery practised?
Americans only want to rule the world and Bush thinks he is God.They want oil and the petro dollars and these belong to the Muslim nations.Hence the so called attacks. Was'nt Saddam a tool for US ?
"Think before you speak" should be the maxim as illogical answers spread racialism and instead of establishing peace in the world ,will take the world to the brink of World War.

It would be in the interest of the world for the US to become more aggressive in the fight against islam. Imagine a world where women no longer had to under go genital mutilation and hide under bed sheets, where they could laugh wittout being beaten, hold jobs, go to school , and marry of their own choice. Imagine a world that would be free of people who believe they have a perfect right to kill those who don't bow to mecca 5 times a day. So far the US has reacted to attacks from muslim countries, but hopefully in the future the US will take a more proactive approach and begin to target muslim dictatorships and despotism's for rehabilitation and admittance to the 21st century

The answers you have received thus far frighten me about the lack of intelligence in this country. It is mind boggling what some people believe.
The American government does not only attack Muslim countries. The first Gulf War was at the benefit of Kuwait. Afghanistan deserved it since, they housed the Taliban, of course we did allow the Taliban to operate there and worked with them for years before attacking.

Understanding Present USA Involvement Abroad
By
minootoo
Q. why they american government always attack to muslim countrys?
A. This is not true.
America provided forces in Afghanistan under NATO treaty and UN mandates.
Desert storm was under UN mandate.
This present involvement was a mistake and miscalculations. It also should have been carried out, under UN mandate but UN did not follow up on its duty. 23 countries initially supported the effort in one form or the other, lots of them were UN members in good standing.
No one had expected insurgents to come from other countries, and yet most serious blunder on the part of Iraqi people was to succumb to insurgency, and engage now, what looks like insurgency fuelled, civil war.
This is the solution I wish people involved adopt to end the blood shed.
As soon as possible without blaming and or finding fault with any one group.
UN must under take Humanitarian mission.
Assemble a peace keeping force, and encourage, Islamic and neutral nations to participate, USA then can turn over the control to UN and still convert USA troop to UN troops, the country providing the most manpower, finance and the equipment can lead the peace keeping affairs, but under UN mandate and UN blue uniform, the Equipment does not need to be painted blue but must have UN logo added and carry an UN flag to signify UN commitment and mandate.
I wish that under UN mandate insurgent would agree to disarm themselves and under the same mandate be repatriated to their country where they can do some use full social work. In other words I wish they would be allow safe conduct out of Iraq to their country of origin.
I wish this can be accomplish in very short time and I wish we can put an end to the bloodshed to day, by agreeing to a lasting cease fire and lasting non aggression policy.

You know, this is ridiculous. Most of our wars have been against predominantly Christian nations.
you know,Britain(Revolution,War of 1812)The Barbary Wars of the early 1800's were against Muslim pirates.Mexico(1846-48),Civil War(1861-65),Spanish American War&Phillipine Insurrection(1898-1902),World War I(Germany,Austro-Hungary-we never had troops against the Ottoman Empire-1916-18),The Central American Interventions(1920's and 30's),World War II(Germany,1941-45-Japan was not Christian, but Buddhist and other Asian Religions).
After World War II,We have fought in Korea(1950-53),which was against the communist North and China,Vietnam(1963-73),which was a war against the communist North. And of our military actions between Vietnam and the first Gulf War,we used military action six times, only two which was against a Muslim country(Libya). After the first Gulf War,we actually intervened in the Balkans on the side of Muslims.
Counting the current wars in Iraq and Afghanistan,we have taken up arms against Muslim countries six times, far less than Christian and Communist countries,so if you're trying to make a historical point.

Because muslim countries, especially the militant ones, are the most violent on the earth. It was muslims who attacked us on 9/11. It's muslim nations that threaten to destroy the US.

Do you remember something about 9/11? That was Muslims attacking the United States. We didn't ask for war with Muslims, but if they want it, we will bring it to them.

This is right time for muslim countries to ponder over this
where they go wrong and why they are contributing to world's
miseries only.It would be better for them to stop harbouring
terroristing otherwise they will be at the receiveing end always.
Moreover why they make so much of profit by selling crude
oil at such exorbitant rates, affecting the world population
negatively.

I must say I am moderately distressed by the tone of most of the replies posted to your questions by the thinkers of the 'Civilized' world
The short answer is:
America is simply being smart in choosing its enemies. A good enemy has the following features:
1. Lack of regular people contact - it is very important that the enemy is faceless - that makes it all the more easy to fabricate rubbish such as how they are spending sleepless nights in their endeavor to bring harm to american children, freedom & way of life - and let's not forget the WMD series of lies
2. Lack of a serious ability to retaliate - Americans have limited tolerance of body bags. You don't want a war to bleed american youth - that would be disastrous for the next elections
3. Lack of a common language - if two english speaking nations go to war, people on both sides would get to know the view from both sides - notwithstanding efforts from CNN etc. It can be difficult to be enemies with people who you understand
4. Has goodies that can be brought home (read: plundered - such as Oil)
As you see, Muslim countries are a reasonably good target. More so because of
1. A divided leadership that ensures a total lack of leverage of Oil on American policy making
2. Impoverished / Insufficiently educated people who are not immediately concerned with opening channels of communication with the 'civilized' world. These people are ready fodder for the War on Terrorism or the War of Liberation depending on which side of the fence you are on
3. A proud cultural heritage that is different from the American - which is conveniently misinterpreted for political points. After all if our women can't make up their minds as to how many clothes to shed while yours seem to be covered from head to toe, obviously you must be evil. It is another matter that the malpractices against women highlighted by one of the respondents are regional rather than religious in nature. If we can bomb you into oblivion, we will have played our part
For a backgrounder read on ...
It is very convenient for most oppressors to give the wider picture a miss while stating facts. Case in point being the vietnam war - here was a nation impoverished that chose its own destiny. With nothing to fight the invaders but an iron will in their hearts. What was the american response - carpet bombing, petroleum jelly bombs, genocide & what not. Hardly what a champion of freedom & civilization would want to go on the record books as. So we have a vietnam war memorial in the US, and countless hollywood fabrications on the gentlemanly behaviour of the americans during the war
And let's not forget Japan - what happened in Hiroshima & Nagasaki. Talk about hypocracy - these are the people who get so worked up over 9/11 - which was a huge criminal act - but rather tame when contrasted with Japan
All empires need an enemy - a rallying point for the common masses. The distinguished list has included the Soviet Union (another empire), Cuba, North Korea, Syria, Iran, Iraq among others. Lack of enemies who can be sold to the gullible voters is a serious detriment to empires under the garb of democracy
