Can you see them? I have a female Zebra Danio who is about to have eggs and I want to be able to find them. What color are the eggs? How long before they hatch?

zebra danios are a scatter breeder. that is the female will scatter her eggs usually over bushy vegetation or roots but really just all over the place. usually a group of two or more males will follow her to fertilize them. there can be hundreds of them and they are tiny (although visible) creamy white dots. they are also sticky and can stick to anything. be careful though, quite often the parents will turn around and eat the eggs if left in too long with them

Danio's are infamous egg eaters. maximum aquarist's that spawn Danio's accomplish that in a medium sized tank with a triple layer of marbles on the backside. This keeps the make certain fish from devouring each and all of the eggs. the father and mom (2 or 3 women human beings to a minimum of one male) are bumped off directly after spawning events quit.
