If you're asking what subjects a person should take in undergraduate school to be a successful atty, I'd suggest American history, European history, some type of writing course (I found Journalism more helpful than English literature), and--of course--some type of government course. Introductory psychology and introductory sociology have been useful. Economics and a basic business course were both useful. Introductory speech was helpful. Howvever, no particular degree is necessary to go to law school. Any undergraduate degree is acceptable.
