I am petite with not much junk in my trunk and thin legs. I cannot get a pair of jeans to decently fit me. I am size 12 on the legs and bottom area and size 14 araound the waist. 12's are too tight around the waist but great on the butt and legs. 14's are too baggy around my butt and top of my legs.
The manufacturer's seem to think that everone who is 14 around the waist has big legs, butt and are taller. help, I'm fed up.

Hi,

Try going by urs measurements rather than size, eg i am a 28 waist and 30 inch leg and i struggle finding a 10/ 12 thats fits perfect.

Looking in the high street for jeans can be hard as the material and quality is never as good try looking a bit up market for a better fit.

With u having slim legs u can get away with skinny jean avoid boyfriend cut as they will drown u, why not go for bootcut as this flatters anyone, good suppliers of jeans are as follows, Rock and republic, superfine, radcliffe and firetrap all do the greatest jeans.

I have spent my life trying to find a specfic company that do great jeans and haven't found one yet! Its just a case of trying a trillion pairs on untill u find a good pair! Always look for a jean that has a bit of stretch in it!

If u go up market u will find that the cut will be far better and ur shape will be better catered for.

I don't know particular styles that will work for you, but there are a number of shops that are particularly good at helping you find the perfect pair of jeans. The ones i know are based in London and are expensive. The best is Start, a shop in London, just off Old Street. The owner is amazing - she took one look at me and found me the perfect pair of jeans in one go. They fit like a dream, and they do an altering service to take things up (i am short too). They were hideously expensive, but i wear them every day, whereas i might pay £130 for a dress that i only wear twice. They truly are a great investment. Look up 'start shop London' on the web and it gives more details. Then there is Selfridges, which has a service where they make jeans for you, so you can guarantee they fit like a dream. I don't know how good it is, but it is very expensive, at about £200. Finally some branches of Levi's have a thing where they scan you so they can find the right pair of jeans - it didn't work perfectly for me, but is always worth a try.
I hope that helps, and if not just buy loads of dresses and make that your signature look - show off your thin legs!

Right, get yourself to http://www.petitepersonalshopper.com now and look for the message boards. There are loads of women with issues like this and people help each other out. It's a really good site and has featured manufacturers. My wife finds Next Petite Jeans good, also Petite Affair who have a link on the above website are good but a little pricey. They cater really well for women of your size and shape. If you have a chance look at the personal style section, my wife Alex West features there and I took the photos. Hope this helps!
