We are currently trying for a baby. I have irregular periods so I am due on any time between tomorrow and Thursday. As I am irregular I wasnt sure of my ovulation time but Ithink we covered the possible dates. Last week I had lower abdominal pain, cramp-like, my breasts are not exactly sore but tender and my nipples are more sensitive. I feel kinda quesy too and have been exhausted. Could I be pregnant or is it just wishful thinking? When can I test? Thanks

The only PMT symptoms I ever get is bloating, I dont normally get any of the above symptoms at all. Not that this really means anything though eh!?

Be careful not to get too hopeful just yet... although these are classic symptoms, they are symptoms that you know are about and it is quite easy to convince yourself that these are real when you have actually conjoured them subconsciously yourself... especially if you are tracing dates that you think the symptoms will begin from. (I have done it before and the day I realised I wasn't pregnant the symptoms stopped completely).
It is really easy to hope that YA will be able to look into the crystal ball and tell you a definite yes, but unfortunately you still have to play the waiting game :S
Although I think it is highly like that you are pregnant, I don't want to go telling you that and then get your hopes up for nothing..
You could try testing now with the early response tests but don't trust them completely
Good luck though and I hope it all works out for you. :)

The only way to find out is by getting a preg test. It could be due to pms or even stress bringing on your symptoms psychologically because you are wishing too hard.
A week after your periods due is the best time to test, but as your periods are irregular, there's no harm in doing it whenever! Also it takes 4-6 weeks before pregnancy symptoms happen.
Remember, miracles do happen and every baby is a miracle in itself.
Good luck!

It could be pregnancy, but it also could be PMS. You'll only know for sure when you either test or miss a period. But, since your cycles are irregular you may have a tougher time knowing when your late.
Just a thought, ovulation predicting is essential when ttc. Not saying you aren't or you won't be pregnant just that it's much harder. I'd suggest getting some LH test strips or something more advanced like a ovulation monitor (I used OvaCue). TTC is hard, but not knowing the essential facts - like period dates and ovulation dates only make it harder and more stressful.

Its sounds very likely but you never can tell. The very first symptom of my pregnancy was extreme exhaustion and I think hand on heart you get a feeling (call it new mum intuition) and you just know. There are pregnancy tests you can buy now that you can do days before your period is even due. Good luck and fingers crossed xxx

you could be but you wont ever get a true answer from here, wait a week after you think your period is due then test, if negative and still no period see your doctor and he may be able to test you again.
if your not pregnant and dont know your ovulation dates, have sex at least every 2nd day, sperm live for 3 days and if the sperm are present say the day before you ovulate, then they are there waiting for the egg.

I would wait for 7 days after your period is due. Because of your irregular periods.
There is a good area on www.babycenter.com on trying to conceive. I would check it out if you have not all ready.
The systems you have mentioned could be PMS. I know you are wishing for it not to be that. But there is a chance you are pregnant because your trying. Right!
So hang in there you maybe pregnant.
