My lawyer had my case transferred from this woman judge because she is divorced twice and living with a man. Brilliant. He didn't think that she would hear my case fairly given that my wife left me and the kids for another man. Brilliant!

Very good. The morals of your judge AND lawyer make a huge difference. I once went before a judge for a child support enforcement issue and he was obviously bias towards men. He made me look like a gold digger and the father had never been family oriented with his kids or NEVER paid child support. He hadn't seen his kids in over a year and was behind in child support over $10,000.00 before I tried to enforce his responsibilities but that judge obviously had problems with being hurt or used by women. He took his frustrations out on ME!!

Hmm, not sure what to say on this one. Isn't a brilliant lawyer kind of an oximoron? It's a game like chess so maybe this was a brilliant move, but it shouldn't matter. I'm sure it does, but it shouldn't.

It was a good move for you, however you still have to stand in front of a judge. Enjoy the small victory, but be vigilant. You still have many battles to go before you can get full custody of the children.

You have a penis, therefore you have a strike against you in a divorce court - keep fighting.

Good luck.

Its not going to make a difference, the facts will all fall the same. Sounds to me like your lawyers wasting time, but hey more money for him!!!!

If you're not being sarcastic, yes, it was brilliant. He wants a male judge for the sympathy angle. Kudos.

BRILLIANT I don't think so. Sounds like he was just doing what you are paying him to do. You haven't WON the BATTLE yet.

does this really count as a question - i am sorry your wife left you and your kids - i think your lawyer was smart - but that is his job, right?
