Oh my goodness, I am the expert you needed to hear from. Many moons ago I fell in love with a guy like that. Run, get away, forget it, give it up, get over it!!! It will never work . If someone thinks they are the littlest bit gay I wouldn't even bother because you will be jipped. Find you a 100% straight man because a gay man will never give you the loving a straight man can give you.

Since you love him, you are trying to find a rational reason why he might "think" he's gay. I believe he already knows he is, and he probably values your love and friendship and doesn't want to hurt you. Don't feel badly if he's gay. He was open and honest with you, and he is probably looking for support. Some women are destroyed to find out the man they loved, left for another man. I would much rather be left for a man than another women...there's nothing to compare yourself too when it's a man. It has absolutely nothing to do with you, or what did or didn't do...or what you look like or act like... I would let him know, that either way you are there for him, and that if he's gay, you would hope that you two can still remain close friends.

I don't think a situation like this can go any other way. If Nature has this guy liking guys...there's not a whole H*** of alot you can do to change that. In fact...there's Not a D*** thing you can do to change it. I would suggest you walk away NOW...if you don't you are just asking for heartache. GOOD LUCK!

Either 1) he doesn't like you even remotely sexually or 2) he really is gay. Be friends and either wear him down over time or move on.

he is probably Bi and confused about his sexuality. It is better for you to wait and see what happens.
