What I would like to know is if you have had a charge last year of "open container" and "expired license" in state of Georgia and other felony charges disposed of 13 years ago, can you obtain work as CDL Driver? Would getting my CDL be a wste of time with these problems?

It would be a waste of time trying to get a CDL...you would need at least 7 years in between the time your charges for open container and expired license were finished (not charged with) before anyone would even consider hiring you...even then, depending on the company, they still may not consider you if you have had any felony convictions for anything, regardless of how long ago.

i'd assume that you would pass to the DMV Dept. of motor vehicles and renew your license, there will be a some late prices to it it will be $5.00 or so, no huge deal, yet do it earlier you get pulled over or you'll truly have a large superb to pay.
