Yes. I had always referred to my baby as 'she' until I was 10 weeks pregnant when someone asked me 'what if you have a boy?' and then I started to worry as I couldn't think of a boys name and I didn't feel anything when I thought of having a boy and it felt 'right' to think of holding a baby girl, and low and behold, at 24 weeks I went for an emergency scan and was told that I was having a girl. I like to think that I knew from the start that it would be a girl and that not being able to feel anything for having a boy was just my body's way of getting me ready for my daughter.

Hmmm when I was having my son (my first) I had no idea but with my second child I just knew it was a girl and I was right. I read recently that the best method of finding out the sex of your unborn baby is a womans own instincts?? Anyway for fun you could try a chinese prediction chart. It tells me im expecting a girl (i dont know, as my intuition is tellingme nothing right now!!) anyway it did predict my last two kids correctly! Goodluck x

I was right with two out of three of mine.....I knew the oldest and youngest were girls and I was right....my middle child I swore to everyone that she was a boy the entire pregnancy(I don't find out the sex it makes it more amazing to hear it in the delivery room) well of course when she was born I was completely amazed. She does act more like a boy though so maybe that is why I thought she was a boy(I always tell everyone I got my boy just with the wrong parts!)

Hi

I felt very strongly that I was going to have a boy and I was right. Whether this was down to intuition or just the fact it's nearly all boys in the family I couldn't be sure!

It's been weird, something told me to take a pregnancy test even though my period was at the time being kinda wacky coming back from basic training and sure enough I was pregnant. Something told me I was having a boy and I even tried to look at girls clothes but it just wasn't right so I'd be back over by the boy things. I found out on Wednesday, that pretty sure it's a boy even though he didn't want to uncross his legs. ( He rolled just right for a millisecond) So I guess I was pretty intune with my pregnancy.

I desperatly longed for a little girl but one day, I was about six months pregnant, I stopped in a wool shop and bought blue wool. I just knew my baby was going to be a boy. And he was. But I've only had that strong feeling about one of my four childen and he was the first one.
Oh, you didn't ask about dads! I was in a shop one day with my husband who was at the other end of the aisle. He came upto me with a big grin on his face and told me he knew I was going to have a little girl -he'd "seen" me with a little girl. True, my first daughter was born a few months later.

Yes i knew i was having a boy from the word go but not every one is right when they take a guess, my mate thought she was having a girl but had a boy and then with her second one she thought it was a girl turned out it was another boy, i think it was just a case of wish full thinking. besides with odds like 2/1 there is a good chance you get it right but just as good a chance of being wrong.
