Ok, a guy/gal cheats on his/her spouse with another guy/gal and then divorces his/her spouse and marries the person with whom he/she was cheating with, and then the NEW spouse finds out after awhile that he/she is being cheated on and wonders "How could he/she ever have cheated on me? How could this person DO this to me?"
Well, DUH! She/he cheated on their spouse to be with you and now you can't figure out why she/he would ever cheat on you?
This has not happened to me personally, but it has happened to some of my friends.
I guess my question is "How clueless can someone be?"

Very Clueless! Once a cheat always a cheat! Cheaters cheat on each other as well as every one they encounter. A cheater can never be trusted. Frankly, I really don't believe half the garbage they say of whats wrong in their relationships that caused the cheating. As it appears to me they get into a habit they cant break. Its called lying, dying to cheat!

Just because someone cheated in the past doesn't mean that they will cheat in the future. Of course, a marriage is a pretty serious relationship to go about cheating in, clearly it shows this spouse doesn't take marriage seriously. Same reason, I'd never date a divorcee! Cheating on a boyfriend/girlfriend and cheating on a commited partner is completely different.

I guess that the best answer would be "Love is blind". But this is for fools.

The ones with some reason will never get in such situations, because first of all if you get involved with a married person you are a home breaker, and if the situation gets to a point where the home breaker and the cheater get together in marriage, well, let's just say that what goes around comes back around.

So, to answer your question, that person who asks herself how could this happen to ME? is not very bright!

Everyone always thinks that they are too special to the cheater and they'll never cheat on them. You would think that at some point, people would get wise and see that once a cheater, always a cheater, and what one does in one relationship will probably happen again and again and again. People are clueless.

Very. People, especially women, can be very clueless when it comes to this. I've done the married-man thing myself so I'm not handing out judgment there - but I have NEVER asked, wanted or expected him to leave his wife. He actually wanted to leave and I told him to stay. I told him I didn't want him full-time because HE CHEATS ON HIS WIFE! Duh - people think they are special and it "Won't happen to them". What a joke.

You are clueless to get involved with a married person and not expect/accept this.

I agree. This is why I would never go with a woman who cheated before.

Obviously, pretty darned clueless. It's amazing what people "in lust" will justify in their own minds, isn't it? LOL History generally has a way of repeating itself, and leopards don't change their spots, and wolves hide out in sheeps clothing, etc., etc., etc.

No kidding! I guess some people just wear blinders at certain times in their lives.
