I think my recent dismissal was unfair. I worked in an office who sell meat based products. During one phone call to a local butcher I offered him some exotic meats, including bear, hamster and elk surprise. When he declined my offer I became upset and preceded to stab my monitor with a fork, shattering the screen in the process. I then preceeded to rub the glass into the face of a co-worker who was sitting with me, resulting in server lacerations to his eye areas.

I have put this down as stress but my employer has taken formal action and I have been dismissed. I am thinking of going to a tribunal, any advice would be great.

Thanks!

Personally I think you should take him to a tribunal, granted your behaviour was a little odd and somewhat violent, but as you were only expressing your dispointment at not getting the order, I think your employer is a barbarian treating you like this. As for your colleague, serves him right, if he did not work there then this would never have happened, so to be honest when your x-colleague goes back to work after having monitor glass removed from his obviously stupid (and somewhat ) shocked face, you should run the stupid bastard over a few times.

I dont know what this country is coming to, when you cannot maim a colleague or friend without losing your job.......it just disgusts me

You acted wrongly and you never bring your stress to a working area, all the same, your boss does not have any right to dismiss you, there has to be warning or maybe suspension.

My advice to you is to visit a tribunal or CC MA in your area, but you do not wait until the answers comes back, try and look for another job.

Advice:

Get up at 6 a.m. every morning, stretch your muscles, meditate for a minimum of 20 minutes before voiding your bladder or releasing your bowels. After this release, stand before a well-lit mirror and beat yourself about the head and shoulders with a pillowcase filled with small tangerines. When you later recover, take out the tangerines, one at a time, slice in two and squeeze the juice in to your left eye....next tangerine, into your right eye. Continue this pattern until all the tangerines have been used.

I prescribe these exercises to be performed daily for the next 10 years, or you cease to be an imbecile, whichever comes first.

May your blessing be many, dear one.

Though your termination may have been unfair, your local law enforcement agency may see what you did is unlawful, go figure. I suggest a change in place. Sounds like you need a new career anyway.

Hahahaha - instead of the Tribunal - I suggest a Lawyer first.

I think you should take it out on your boss - hit him with your car or something - then find the local butcher and show him the meaning of butcher

I suspect this question is a hoax. If, in fact, you did what you say you did, you would certainly be facing criminal charges and in need of an attorney. My advice would be to apologize for your actions, hope that they do nothing more than fire you and look for less stressful work.
