person i dont, mean to be negative about myself and family and i dont, want them to have low self esteem like i have always had so i have decided to be more postive,
is being put down alot when i was younger have something to do with being negative, i am going to change. someone said we have wrong beliefs about ourselves if we are told negative things,

Being put down alot is a bad thing cous then you go into defensive mode where you prepare yourself for something bad to happen not to get hurt, even if something bad doesn't happen you are still waiting for it, cous your in defensive mode so yes.

yes negativity at an early age can indeed turn you into a negative person with low self-esteem.

I suggest you read three books and put them into practice in your life.

Learned Optimism by Martin Seligman,
Authentic Happiness by Martin Seligman and the Six Pillars of Self Esteem by Nathaniel Brandon.

Yes! Try to look at the good instead of the bad. There are so many good things in life, try to enjoy it before its too late.
