Since you say Raid Console, I'm going to assume you have a dedicated Raid hardware interface (PCI card or motherboard controller).

In the Raid Console (which I assume you launch from Control Panel) it should show both drives. Select the 'unmirrored' drive and reformat it (this is needed before windows XP will 'see' it).

Good luck !

If this is a SATA drive, check whether that is turned on in the BIOS.
If it is a new (unformatted) ATA drive, you'll have to go to Control Panel, Administrative tools, Computer Management, Storage - disc management and set it up from there. With an unformatted SATA drive, that may also be necessary.
In answer to your email:
Follow the instructions I sent you, find the disc and right click on it. Follow the instructions popping up.
Also, if you have a broadband connection, I can send you a program via email, that will allow me to get on your computer and do it for you while you watch.

bios settings need to be right first.
bios shoiuld find and show the drive but windows will not see it until it is formatted.
try the makers website for a disk utility (maxtor use maxblast for instance) this can be very useful.
if it is the only SATA drive then it is a waste trying to mirror it anyway.
had problems finding my first SATA drive i ever got, all i did was change the connection on the mobo to another plug....found it straight away.
