Yes but make sure to get up as much as you can to stretch.

I flew when I was 12 weeks and was fine....but my trip was only 1 1/2 hours. Just get up and go to the bathroom every 1-2 hours to keep the blood circulating in your legs.

You're fine. I'm like 17/18 weeks and going on a 16+ hour flight on Friday! Good luck & have a safe trip! And since you're driving, if you need to you and your hubby can always pull over and get out and stretch for a few minutes. I just LOVE how people have no life and go through giving everyone a thumbs down when they're trying to help someone out!

well, although technically they say it is safe to travel upto 3rd trimester, i took a 13 hr flight when i was 6 weeks pregnant (I didn't know it at the time). i miscarried a few days later. now, Im not saying it was the flight that caused it, but u never know. Having said that i flew this time around at 23 weeks and was fine. 11 weeks is not past the danger period, but almost... I guess its up to u, i personally wouldn't risk it until i was passed 13 weeks because of my previous experience. Good luck

NOT a problem, just make sure you bring medical records with you, important in case something happens on the trip. I did the same and was very worried but the doctor reassured me over and over that everything would be perfectly fine, keep your blood type card in your purse along with doctor's phone number, they should provide a little packet with all info that would be needed. HAVE FUN and beware of nausia on the trip :p

I traveled via car in the summer heat wave 1700 miles at 4 months.

I'd have to say yes, its safe.

Check with your doctor. In the late '90's in Bosnia/Kosovo we had a problem with a lot of female Army soldiers getting pregnant and they wouldn't fly them back to the states for a couple of months -- pretty sure it had something to do with the pregnancy.

Doctors recommend not to travel during the last month.

You are safe to fly til you hit your 3rd trimester. Then it is dangerous for mom and baby to fly. Otherwise you are good to go.. Have fun.

Yes, honey, it's safe. Just take bigger breaths when you climb and descend so your ears adjust. LOL. This is a cute question, thanks for asking. Ron Couch, (parent of two kids )
