Hannibal Rising or the Number 23?

Hannibal Rising. The series is getting old and it's very hard to go back in time to explain what happened that led up to the other 3 or 4 movies.

Definitely Hannibal Rising.
With the exception of the third installment of the Indiana Jones movies (which was great!) movies that go back in time to explain the original movie are rarely very good.

The Number 23 is already a critical failure and has been panned on so many levels. Fearnleys too fantastical script, Jim Carrey out of place, absurd elements such as a man obsessed with dogs etc
Hannibal Rising is moderatly succesful but it is the number 23 that is the embarrasment

the biggest disappointment was Ghost Rider
but I think the Number 23 will be good

They should have made that movie first.
