ok I am 17 weeks pregnant. Most of the things I eat tend to upset my tummy what can I do or take after something makes my stomach upset to make it feel better.

I found the best way to help keep myself at least a bit not sick feeling is to keep a small amount of food, mild food, in my belly. Cracker, bread, broth. I was very very very sick for 3 months straight with my son. Now I'm 6 weeks one day in with my second child and I will find out how I feel with this one. I already get a bit moody (my poor hubby and son) and nauseous if I go too long without eating.

Oh lordy, you and me both. I am 17 weeks and I am in a similar boat.

I am done with the morning sickness and now it's the heartburn/ upset stomach that's set in. I get it only at night but end up throwing up eventually. (Nice way to wind down)

I haven't found anything that helps...Tums are pretty much ineffective anymore.

Good luck with this.....I hope you find some relief.

I never found much help, just chew some tums. It helps somewhat. At 17 weeks the sickness should be ending soon. But.... some people are midly sick all the way through pregnancy. I personally was sick for about 4 months, then it got better. Hopefully your soon to be over it. Good luck!

My obgyn says that I can take any over the counter heartburn medicines. I chose to take Zantac 75mg and it helps with upset tummy and heartburn pretty well. Ask your doctor if that is ok with him and try it. Good luck.
