When i stayed there it was clean had no problems right in the center of the strip which i liked but the only problem was the elevators took forever. other than that it was a nice stay

The Imperial is pretty gross compared to the other hotels. Pay a little more and stay somewhere decent like Harrahs or the Flamingo. Sometimes you would be surprised...even the big fancy hotels like the MGM have great prices. Check all your options before deciding on the Imperial Palace.

We stayed at the Imperial palace one time. It was OKAY and it's location is not bad for getting around the strip. It would not be choice to stay if others were close to the same price. We have stayed at Paris, New Year, Stratosphere, Excalibur,Golden Nugget and Imperial palace. Stratosphere was clean, reasonable but, too far off the strip. Golden Nugget, nice place but we don't like the downtown area at all. Paris and New Year were both great and we hope to stay at the Rio on our next trip. My husband and his cousin stayed at the Excalibur and told my hubby said he would stay there again if the price was right.

stay at the Rio, yes it is off the strip, but prices are decent and real big rooms and clean...OOh they have shuttle to Harrah, so you get dropped off there... I have stayed at Imperial Palace, it is ok,, we ended getting a room that overhung the music stage below and nr the strip, they played until 2-3am,noisy and loud....

No. For a few dollars more you can stay at Harrah's or the Flamingo. Much nicer properties and offer the same location.

It is a flithy hotel, plus the location where it is a prime location where all the hookers and thugs hang out at, I would recommend the Tropicana if you short on a few bucks

i wouldnt recommend it unless you wont be in your room much and only there for sleeping.
