I'm house sitting outside of New London and last night there was a big boom and the whole house shook. I don't know what it was, but I think it could've been a sonic boom... Anyone else know what I'm talking about or what else it might be?

You could have heard a sonic boom. Wisconsin does have a squadron of fighter jets that fly all over the state. If you live near train tracks, the switching of cars can be extremely loud.

Albuquerque, NM had a sonic boom in the morning, yesterday.

I wondered the same.

It had to be a military "scramble" of fairly high importance to authorize flying at supersonic speed, or some natural phenom.

I was up there fishing, and I heard the same thing. Plus we saw some crazy things in the sky but they were probably just planes. Although very weird
