Have a look at these links. They all give advice about gaining your horses trust and desensitising them in spooky situations:

I've seen a number of people do this, and have been asked to help a few times. Take your horse in it's trailer to a large truck stop. Find a quiet back area. Take the horse out and tie it to it's trailer, to get her used to the environment and sounds. Now this part you may not want to do alone. Find a trucker that seem friendly and ask them if they're willing to bring their truck near and run it so the horse can get used to it. Have them drive up very slowly so she can acclimitize to it. If she feels confident and the trucker has the time, let the horse slowly get near the truck at her own pace.
When the trucker leaves, let her watch it. She may feel better after.

I've seen it work a few times, but sometimes it doesn't. It's all about the demeanor of the horse.

To get her confident around semis, you will need access to one. If you have the chance, park the semi in a nice big open area. Work your horse in circles next to and around the semi. Keep her attention on you by doing rollbacks, serpentines, etc. As she gets more comfortable, move a couple inches closer and closer to the semi, working her the whole time. Also, another really good thing to do is have her follow the semi. Have the truck start up and drive slowly forward. Whenever something moves away from a horse, the horse becomes more confident and inquisitive toward that object.

That is a hard subject. I would advise you to take your horse for a walk around a 18 wheeler and let it get used to it. But you probably dont own one so that would be hard to do. I would just keep working with her when one goes by let her know that it isnt going to hurt her.
