I think its from caveman times when we were gathers. We would wander around searching for berries and other things.
Now we wander around the mall searching for the perfect shoes!

I'm a woman and I could never figure that out. Walking into a mall, looking at racks of overpriced, similar-styled mass-produced clothes just bores me. I was at a mall last week. A large mall. After poking into the children's clothing stores and the maternity clothes and a couple of shoe stores (I'm pregnant and I literally need new sneakers; All three pairs have holes in them and the other pair is close to wearing through), I was bored. Fortunately, I brought a book and a couple of magazines to read while I waited for my husband to finish his his time at GameWorks. I technically found a dime (somebody left a deposit soda bottle on a bench), but spent none.
When I do need clothes, I hit thrift stores. Wading through the clothes there is just as tedious and boring, but at least I'll be spending much less and the money will be much better spent going to good causes and not Coporate America.

Thats a question alot girls can answer. When a girl walks in a big store with accesorries , shoes, hats, furniture, clothing, perfume, other household items, its like heaven. Its like a girls best friend. Not exactly, but u know. Some girls just wear whatever there parents buy them, becuase there not all into shopping, but i am. ha,I'm going to this store called Walmart this afternoon, cuz my mom wants to get an outfit.

no, the act of shopping and shopping are two different things.
walking around stores and buying stuff isnt all that cool in itself, as can be proved when you offer to go shopping for suspenders and new cutlery.
but buying clothes and beauty products is so much fun because of the prospect of looking better... impressing somebody... whatever!
i love it! that is shopping... not shopping...
get it? there's shopping, and there's shopping lol ; )

It feels great to go shopping because it's apart of the female nature. Every girl is born with it.

The reason I like shopping is because us girls like to shop til we drop. and get stuff anything that is probably on sale or off sale
