Best friend is a close friend you thing you can trust.
True friend is someone who's friendship is real like offer without expecting taking from you, who stood by you in the hard times, who put you above all even him.

In my opinion.....
Close Friend- someone you hang out with with friends every once in a while have fun together.. and get along with.
Best Friend- Someone you can hang out with alone and have fun together and you think you can trust them.
True Friend- someone that isnt afraid to hurt your feelings even if they know they do or not.. they basically stab you in the front and not the back if you know what i mean.
