We just ended our intramurals today and we won the competition but I feel bad because I accidentally hit this girl with the small basketball. She said it was ok and so did her homeroom teacher but I still feel soooooo bad! (No "I don't know" answers please!)

Will you get a chance to see her again? If you can, then just tell her that even though you already apologized, it's still been on your mind and bugging you. Tell her again how sorry you are. This will make you both feel better. It sounds to me like you need to do this more for yourself than for her. Because I'm sure she's fine but you have a big heart and hate to see people hurt or sad. If she said, and the teacher said everything is ok, then why feel bad. Accidents happen in sports. That is expected sometimes. Dont make it worse than it is. Maybe you are too emotional. If it would make you feel better, then get her a card, and say it again that way, but not necessary. Do you like this girl, romantically? Maybe that is why.

Give her a small gift as an apology...or take her out to have coffee or a meal. I wouldn't do more than that.
