well, surf as much as you can on the internet about ongoing housing projects in south africa. read through interesting stuff, trivia. Name some pros and cons. Take a fictional person, perhaps a young boy who is living in africa and speaking through. Don't memorize, just visualize and grasp the concept in your speech. Evaluate on the current status. And well, speak from your heart. Don't just talk about methodology, the first answerer to your question was bored dumb after skimming through your speech. of course you have to memorize the facts and figures, but speak it as if you are explaining to a school friend or a slow-learner at school. just one point i think you may have not added and is a great start to your speech- The problem of urban sprawl and inadequate provision of planned low-income housing.
South African cities are unique with respect to its strong ethnic segregation, a legacy inherited from the apartheid period. compare africa's poor housing conditions with your city's. Alright, don't stutter, even if you do, apologise, don't make a big affair and go ahead. i hope u get ur point across.
