ooh I like them both!!!
Emmie is a very pretty name. It seems modern.
Caroline is an absolute classic name which is pretty. But do you want her to be called Carol???
I would go with Emmie! Cause it is not common. And it can not be shortened to something undesirable! (Just Em)

I like Emmie. If you really like both of those names, what about Emmie Caroline?

I think it has a nice ring to it. Just try it with the last name to make sure it sounds good.

Sorry, I don't like either. Emmie makes me think of timidity, shyness. And Caroline, well, it's so over-used! Why don't you consider some other ideas? Change Emmie to Emmellie or Amellie, more sophisticated. Emmie has such babyish connotations! Or how about Ella, Ella Bella? Way better than Emmie! Change Caroline to Carelle or Carella! Good luck!

I like Caroline much better. Emmie makes me think of the awards show (the Emmy's). I tend to like the more traditional names anyway. Besides the old names are considered unique now because everyone is naming their chrildren the modern, odd spelled names.

Emmie just sounds so sweet. I see a beautiful little baby girls eyes when I think of Emmie. Emmie sounds so precious! Caroline sounds so tough and old.

Caroline. Emmie sounds too much like a nickname for a little girl and we all know little girls grow up. The name "Caroline" just says class and dignity to me. If you're worried about the name Caroline being too much of a mouthful for young children, then name her Caroline Camille and you can nickname her C.C.

I have nieces with both names. One is Emily, but called Emmie and Caroline is called Carrie. I like Caroline, if one calls her Carrie, otherwise, I like Emmie.

I prefer the name Caroline. It sounds more classy. I think it is better than Emmie for an older child or adult (and she'll be an adult far longer than a child). A drawback is if it is shortened.
Emmie sounds clueless and way too cute and sickly. Emma would be better. Again the problem of it being shortened.
Just personal opinion!
