No, we are not because still we are surrounded by dirty systems like dowry, mishandling of women, girl child non acceptance in many parts on india. Having such conditions we are not FREE.

Broadly we are free but our mind is not free. Our thoughts, opinions and our ideas are chained. We don't do what we want to do. like for example a person is free to cast his/her vote according to his/her wish but he/she is bound by caste system or by other ethnic groups.
