What Is Real Never Ceases
The Self dwells in the house of the body,
Which passes through childhood, youth, and old age.
So passes the Self at the time of death
Into another body. The wise know this truth
And are not deceived by it.
When the senses come in contact with sense-objects
They give rise to feelings of heat and cold,
Pleasure and pain, which come and go.
Accept them calmly, as do the wise.
The wise, who live free from pleasure and pain,
Are worthy of immortality.
What is real never ceases to be.
The unreal never is. The sages
Who realize the Self know the secret
Of what is and what is not.
Know that the Self, the ground of existence,
Can never be destroyed or diminished.
For the changeless cannot be changed.
Bodies die, not the Self that dwells therein.
Know the Self to be beyond change and death.
Therefore strive to realize this Self.

That question has never really been answered.
It is better to just look at life as a journey. You know where it started and you know where it will end. That means the only thing you can affect is where you will travel in between.
If life has a purpose, then that means that there is an afterlife and would be evidence that there is a God. It wouldn't say who's right or wrong about how to relate to that God, or even if he cared at all...
If life has no purpose, then it really doesn't matter what you believe about God...
I'd prefer to think there is a purpose and there is a God, but I can't prove it, and I haven't been able to get God to tell me what the purpose is....
God must have a pretty good sense of humor. Maybe this life is just his idea of a really big joke on all of us.
Maybe this universe is just the "celestial" equivilent to a 3rd grader having an ant farm for a science fair experiment...

A. To have fun while learning how to focus on what we want until it manifests in our experience. Then deciding something else we want, and focusing on it long enough until it manifests in our experience and on and on.
To master the creative process:
Step 1: Decide that you will have something/someone
Step 2: Let the Universe answer
Step 3: Make sure you align with what you want by feeling good while thinking of that thing/person you want.
Here's something fun.
Test this process and watch it work.
Don't denounce it.
Test it.
Or just look at your life now. Everything and everyone in it, you attracted to you because of the way you were thinking and feeling. Find the connections in life.
Have a good time all the time, that's my philosophy.

Your parents and God created you so that's why you have a life. It is what you do with your life that is your purpose, you have the free will to louse it up or do great things with it. It is up to you.
God knows what he'd planned on for your life , but you have the choice to do with it what you will and in the end you'll return to the Lord and make your accounting of it and do your life review. That 's everyone, no exceptions, whether you wish to believe it or not.

Does life care what we do. No, It will go on as if we were not even there if that's the life we chose. If we don't venture we will leave without even a wisp of smoke. But if we have courage to apply ambition we may become timeless. The lives we touch for good or for ill may well live on....forever.?

the purpose of life is to serve others, yes that is the purpose of live, you need some1 to help you and some1 else need your help. we life to serve other to love to take of this planet. to enjoy life, to be love.

life is a beautiful thing it is Free . free for what you want to do in life is really up to the individual. is purpose is exploring your gifts in what you were born with and learning to live and reach to your pot entail each day and making a bigger and brighter future for yourself .that is the reason to live

Well if you see this in another way.....the purpose of life is to die....
Because DEATH is the only thing that each and every person on this planet is destined to do.....to die....
Other things that man does on earth varies from person to person......no one does the same thing except to die.
If one is born.......he has to die..... dont take this in a negative way but this is true.
