You cant. The only thing that u can do is give it time. It will hurt like mad but its better than the guilt invoved in taking it further. Hang in there and good luck xxx

Keep well away from her! The fact you want these feelings to go away means that you obviously love your partner very much. A big element in the attractiveness of this woman is probably because she's new and exciting while being in a long term relationship can be a bit repetitive.

In that case think of new things to do with your partner. Go on holiday and spend some much needed time together. That way you might end up rediscovering all those feelings you had when you first fell for each other. And this other woman will be out of your head.

The best thing and way to do this is to stop all contact and communication with this woman. Work on your long term relationship and move on with your life without this other woman in it.

I dont know if you can make them go away. Obviously the relationship you are in is ready to end, for you anyway. Not necessarily a bad thing... move on!

You can't control your feelings, but you can control what you do about them. If you wish to maintain your long-term relationship you know what to do (or more importantly, what not to do). If you don't - well your choices are broadened, but so are the consequences. Good luck - follow your heart.

.Well if you both want them to go away ,then it's just infatuation and should be treated as so.
Don't put yourself in any position that you will see, speak too or be anywhere near her, the feelings will subside

Realise that feelings aren't real and that they can be controlled.

Most people these days are controlled by their thoughts and emotions and their behaviour reflects this.

I have managed to reverse the tables and control my thoughts and emotions which has made me much happier in general.

Closure, you need to tell her that you know that this (relationship) has the potential to become very complicated. Give up contact with her and work on your longterm relationship.
