Try reinstalling the drivers. This can be done by using the recovery CD's that came with the laptop or downloading them and using control panel/install hardware to install the drivers and reset the hardware.

Access device manager & from their select USB & double click it click remove driver for this device, were driver will be removed. Restart your machine again go to device manager double click USB and click Install driver choose automatic in the next window which appears. In Device manager never click roll over or roll back driver.
