I am not sure the sentence or context, but my best guess with the limited info, it means to get you 'high' (pot, coke, etc....)

Well, it used to mean to get really mad or angry--"steaming" mad.
"It got me bakin' mad when that guy cut me off in traffic."
It has, obviously, taken on a WHOLE new meaning since my day.
