Jane is better bc it is kind of plain and formal, but that's good. If need be the name can also be used as Janie, which is ascute as a button. Annie has that aaaaaaaaa sound which I think sounds hideous. Say you were made at your little girl. You could call "AAAAAAAAAAAAnnnnnnnnie!" or "JANE". Annie when shouted esp. sounds hideous. The name Anne is also very plain if you think about it doesn't really sound cute. I personally hate the name Anne. Annie also only really works as a kids name. Jane would work as a grownup name for when your kid is grown up or as a kid name. When shortened to Janie it is also extremely adorable. Hope that helps! Good luck!"

I guess it depends on the last name. If the last name ends in a "y" or "ie," then I say Jane, because I hate names that rhyme (Annie McLandy).
If the last name begins with an "N," then I say Annie, because I don't like when the first name bleeds into the last name (Jane Nolan sounds like Jay Nolan).
If neither of the above applies, then I like Jane better, because I can't envision a grown woman named "Annie."

I prefer Annie - why? am not sure and don't want to offend any Janes out there but Jane is a bit plain. Annie is more fun, but can be shortened to Ann if needed to be more serious.

Annie is cute. I also like Jane. Maybe spelled Jayne though, Jane is kinda plain. I know Jayne is the same, but spelling it differently gives it a new flair.

I think jane or the better name because it is kind of plain and a formal name but that's good. if need be the name can also be used as janie which it is ascute as a botton i just think it is so cute for a girl i always wanted my name to jane because it is so cute good luck.

personally i would chose janie (part of both) but between the 2, jane, because annie would be made fun of for the movie in school.
