I worked in Majorca and there's lots of nice resorts. April is still classed as the winter season and most resorts don't open until may (summer season) - you're probably best off staying in the south - Palma Nova or Magalluf. These resorts are very busy in the summer season but winter season they are quieter. I think if you go to any other resorts at this time you will be bored as you'll find that a lot of the shops, restaurants, etc. will be closed. Personally I prefer Palma Nova, but the 2 resorts are right next to eachother and you can walk from one to the other. Hope this helps and hope you have a great time wherever you end up!

Mallorca is best if you go to Playa de Palma, a good hotel is Hotel Oleander more quiet erea, many dico's on the sea front, you will enjoy it overthere

Puerto Pollensa is the most picturesque. Alcudia (just round the bay) has more going on.
