No, but I did have a childhood phase where I gave everything a haircut. The cat, myself, the family dog, my stuffed animals and that garish macrame hanger that had the overflowing fern on it. I am certain my mother rued the day that scissors were invented. Had there been a hole-punch available, I am certain I would have had many useful applications for that tool.

I remember the day i got my first hole puncher!! I had tears in my eyes from excitement and was eager to have a play!! I grapped paper from where ever i could and tried to get all different colours, I then hole punched it all and kept all the little round bits of paper in a bag. Things soon changed as the years went by and i suddenly got bored with my hole puncher and i handed it down to my little sister who was just as excited as i had once been. I now have one in my draw at work and do use it occasionally and it always brings back memorys of the good times me and my hole puncher had once had.

Oh yeah! I got detention once for punching the science textbooks cause I was bored. My defence that it was a legitimate experiment on applied force at a point through leverage didn't seem to hold much water.

What with an Italian mother, can you imagine what she would have done to me if I had hole-punched things, no I used walk away until I'd calmed down, it was the best thing all round for me.

Yes - very therapeutic! I also went through a phase of labelling everything in sight, when someone brought me a dyno-tape kit for Christmas on Year!

Yes - it's probably something to do with the feeling of learning to be important by doing a job with significance, ie once your ticket's punched, that's it: you're in, or out.

Ha ha!! Yes!!! I remember that - I used to make confetti for my doll's weddings. I used to beg my mum to give me any old papers, post, magazines etc... and spend hours hole-punching them all.

Man that was fun! I'm.... er... just going out... Definitely NOT to buy a hole punch.... Ahem.

;-)
