I made one cas I was trying to ask questions to figure out how to work a damn diaper genie--those things are so confusing! And the diaper genie website wasn't working worth a crap so I decided I woudl try to ask my first question.

i found in may 2006 advertisment say ask any question and u will find real people answer u
i thought yahoo answer team who answer people
i didnt know much about points
after that i asked my first question
and i recieved only few answers , because yahoo answer was at its begining not as popular as today
after a month i recieved a messages say that my question has been rosolved by voters i came to check it after that i found the leader board and the points game
i loved it as a waste of time
but i didnt collect points as much i collect today

Mine was because I needed to find a website where I could ask questions, and I found it. Then I discovered how I really like helping people by answering when they have a questions.

I was actually looking for the translation of the scientific name of a species for an article I was writing...all the Googling in the world didn't help, but I got it in less than an hour on Y!A.
I only became a Polls&Surveys lunatic later on.....

I was having trouble with my computer and I have bothered my friends one too many times. I thought if answers didn't work I would go to my friends, but I got a precise answer and my computer is working now!!

I first made mine to help out my sister-in-law who had just bought a new phone and was wondering how to get it to alert her when she received yahoo messages from my brother in iraq. I got a quick response and i've been here answering questions every since.

I wanted to be heard
It's comfortable to know there are people who agree with me on certain issues
getting a best answer really boosts confidence
i wanted to respond to people i strongly disagreed with
and i kind of want to make friends,may life outside of answers is boring and kind of said,not pathetic though.
