Get some self-respect. People who respect themselves do not tolerate disrespect from others, not even those they love. It makes sense to forgive disrespect once or twice, but you have to have a limit. You behaved like a doormat, so your significant other treated you like a doormat. It will take a great deal of effort to change this pattern of behavior, but it can be done and it must be done if you are married. If you are not married, you should probably end the relationship.

Sometimes i feel you need to make others realise your worth miss and realise your importance in their life.I plan to do just that soon since i feel the same way with guy hes my best friend and we are in love for years so its that way too.

It's all about what your willing to put up with. If you expect/want more - and you know he won't give it - Then move on to someone who will! You can't spend your life waiting for someone to change - THEY WON'T! You can only change yourself - with that I mean - either except the way that he is or choose to move on and be treated right.
