The South Africans are well renowned as chockers but I think that this time they might just make it. They have a more balanced team than they had in 2003 where they used to rely on one player Lance Klusener.
They now have players who on their day can take the game away from any opposition. Mark Boucher, Shaun Pollock, Justin Kemp, Herschelle Gibbs and of course Jacque Kallis.
This year they have to make it stick or else they might never make it, ever again!

Since cricket is a game of uncertainties as has been proved on number of occasions, nothing can be predicted for sure about the final result of the World Cup.
Even considering the current form of teams, winner of the World Cup cannot be predicted as the final outcome will depend upon the performance during the world cup and not the current form.
As it stands now all the top 8 teams stand a chance to win the world cup. Whichever team plays to their potential consistently during the world cup will be the ultimate winners of the world cup

I'm betting on 2 teams either South Africa cause they are in top form and they are currently the no.1 team. On the other hand there is West Indies who are also a really great all round cricket team and they have a home advantage.

becoz you know the Australia is world champion team, if New Zeeland beat the world champion team, then he could won the world cup & all the players of New Zeeland are in good performance & thay have a capable to won the world cup,

West Indies (vs Australia in the final).
three months ago I would have said Aus, but they are struggling with injuries and form. Although despite this, they are still a devestating side. However, without a bowler of the calibre of Lee, I think, they might just get pipped. Home ground advantage, plus the Windies are a youthful team with plenty of ODI success under their belts....
