I watched Survivor lastnight, and the competetion for the immunity idol was hard to get because some just couldn't swallow the task.

Do you think you could do it, without water to wash it down?
Could you get past the first bite at least?

i doubt it.

the smell of a million dollars wouldn't be enough to counteract the feel of bristly snouts going down. and even if i DID pass this task, knowing that there was more of the same on the menu for tomorrow would make me pass.

what WOULD i eat? i guess i'd draw the line at worms.

If they were giving a steak dinner, I would try that. Then I would pay off my land, finish building my house, buy me and my wife a new vehicle, then give the rest away. Contrary to what most people think, money only makes people more miserable than ever. It will steal your friends, your compassion, your values and finally your soul. Everyone will want what you have, noone will look at you the same, and most will view you with contempt.

There are studies done involving lottery and sweepstakes winners that won much more than you are talking about, and most of them were totally miserable. Look at Howard Hughes, for example. Not to mention that you will never enter the kingdom of God.

I wonder if you have to keep it down? If I could eat it and then throw up...maybe..but I don't know if I could keep some of that stuff down. I'd try like heck!!!
