Eenadu, Andhra Pradesh's most reputed media brand, writes about corruption of the AP government, worse still, exposing corruption within the CM's family. I have every reason to trust Eenadu's authenticity in whatever it has to say. In reply, the Govt plans to pin down one of the Usodaya (The mother-company of Eenadu)'s firms, Margadarsi Financiers (Not to be confused with Margadarsi Chit Funds), and 'proclaim' it illegal, against RBI norms.
RBI has already given the firm their clean chit, the depositors have no objections whatsoever against the company, furthermore they stage a demonstration in support of the company.

The bigger issue I'm asking is: Is the government and Indian Legislative as a whole, developing a fascist kind of mentality, where the ruler takes it all, and the onlooker cannot even speak against it?

If Ramoji Rao isn't above the law, it should be the case with the CM too. As an individual, he and his family owns lands in excess of 1500 acres which is disproportionate to his income and the income of all his family member put together.

I think Ramoji Rao is using his media clout to camouflage his 'Finance' & 'Chit fund' business, where all does not seem to be O.K. Your contention that Margadarsi Finance & Chit Funds are separate, is again dicey. Then why he should cry hoarse, as gagging the press, when Margadarsi is raided, which has doubtful credentials.
