I just read that this is in the works at abc....i don't really like the idea myself..

I love Addison on the show but I really don't think there's enough reason for her to have her own show....
When she arrived on Grey's, she added a twist to make Derek and Meredith uncomfortable...and then complicated when Mark showed up....so it worked through the backstory of how Derek came to Seattle. But it's not enough to make me want to watch her start a new life without all the angst at Grey's....despite how much I like her character now.
I don't tend to like spin-off tv shows (the exception was Frasier)

I agree with you and I don't think that it'll be a great idea, at least at this time because Grey's Anatomy is doing a great job with the viewers. A spin-off will take away from Grey's Anatomy's spotlight and I'm not for something called Addison's Anatomy because the title is not original (even for a spin-off) plus I'm not that crazy about Kate Walsh's character on Grey's. A spin-off at this time isn't attractive at all to me.

WOW! Are you serious?!?!?! I haven't heard that yet. I don't know about that. I LOVE Grey's Anatomy I watch it every week and can't get enough....but Addison's Anatomy?? That's just kinda weird in my opinion. Especially cuz Grey's will still be on...Right? Of course I would watch it just to see how it was and I might like it...but I just don't think it could ever be as good as Grey's!!

I dont think a show based on her character would even make it. She is not even a central character on Greys and we havent really even gotten to know her, but what we have seen - does not make me want to know her. Unfortunately I would have to say that she is my least favourite on the show. They all have a good thing going on Greys - why on earth would any of them jeapordize that???

Yeah, they've already begun taping it. Taye Diggs has signed on. I'm pretty sure this is a sure bet...I'm not excited about the idea, I have a feeling it will flop. People just don't like watching bad things happen to babies.

I don't think this show will make it. Just like the spin off from Friends, Joey. They probably thought people would like it just as much as Grays.

It won't hold up to the original. I'll watch it to see if I'll like it but I need to see Derek and he hopefully isn't leaving the original.

Interesting concept...but not sure it will work...but hey..she is a fan favorite and I would watch....and hope that the other stars of G.A. would make guest appearances.....hope it works....
