Guinea Pigs drink about 4 fluid onces or more on average. If he is Drinking less then this you need to get him to the vet quickly as dehydration in Guinea Pigs can cause death if left untreated for to long.

Oh, please move your piggie back indoors!

The piggie is probably stressed from being outside. Not drinking his water could cause his internal organs to shut down.

I have no idea where you live, but guinea pigs do not do well in temperatures below 65 degrees (fahrenheit) or above 75 degrees. A pig can die of heat stroke at 80 degrees! Maintaining a constant temperature (indoors) will make him much more comfortable. And by eliminating the stress of being outdoors, he will be much friendlier and relaxed.

If you bring him back indoors (I hope you do) and he is still not drinking, he may be ill and a vet check would be warranted.

As he is outside he is most likely getting a lot of moisture from the grass. To be sure give your guinea pig a through check for signs of illness. if you are still worried, but he is fine, feed him lots of cucumber as this is 90% water anyway.
Good Luck!

Firstly is he panting? There is a problem if he is. If his poo is very hard then he is dehydrated, make sure he has lots of juicy food like lettuce and apple. Worst case force-feed him water with syringe
Have you changed the way you dispense water to him? I had one who wouldn’t drink form a gravity water bottle. Did you feed him on lots of dry food before? And now he's getting a taste of water rich grass? He could simply be pining for you as you have taken on the role of his mate. If u move him inside make sure he has lots of outdoor playtime. Also just for his mental health consider getting him a friend if he is already sexually mature its going to have to be female but you can get him fixed.
my pigs have stayed outside in snow 2ft deep and also in 45 c lots of straw or shade is all thats needed
