Tricky question requiring some thought. If they are weighing in on political issues they already can be taxed and lose their 501-3c status. But as non secular coprorations, there probably should be limits to size and reveune. These are the instutions that wait for opportunities to promote theocracies.

Yes , lets tax the Churches ..((.I guess that is where you are going with this..)) then if we tax the churches we no longer have to hear about separation of church ,and state , because the churches will be contributing to the government thus giving them a louder voice and it would pave the way for all the Private Christian schools get the same funding and rights as public schools because the church associated with the schools are tax paying businesses , this would make the churches more powerful in local government ,and give them a bigger,and louder voice when election time rolls around as the Church Population makes up over 78% of the country good Idea ....Do you know with the amount of money given to the govt. in taxes by the churches would make them as big as the pharmaceutical companies thus they could even lobby the politicians on bills that give special privileges to the followers of the churches
