What is a simple solution for the "eye jump" (muscle spasm)?

Question

Cold washcloth on the eye?
Any kind of vitamins & herbs?
Over the counter meds like specific eye drops?
Anything to try first before calling the doctor's ofc for an appt.

I don't know about you...but I know if my eye does this, it is telling me to get some sleep!

It can be an indication of a larger problem. I think you should check with your doctor if the eye twitch doesn't stop.

What I do is to put a tiny piece of paper, wet, and stick it to my restless eyelid. Sometimes I even put a piece of masking tape on it. It stops the "jumps" instantly so that I can do my work. Of course, I's look silly. In the meantime, I'd try to relax, eat better, sleep more, lay off coffee, massage my neck for better circulation.

nothing,I just went to the eye doctor a couple weeks ago and we discussed this,and he say's its totally normal,we all have them,and there is nothing you can do about it. It's due to all kinds of things,he mentioned,stress,anxiety,tiredness,etc. So I guess,fix those things and maybe it will let up?! I know what a pain in the butt it can be:)
