I had a very intense dream where I'm in a pool of water and making friends with a very sad, scared, and ugly fish. That is, until the shark shows up. I'm yelling at people on land telling them to make it stop as it plows into me and starts nibbling. Not biting, but teasing. I frantically swim to shore and escape the shark, but my fish friend is nowhere to be found. I awoke searching for my fish, and when I realized what happened I started to cry. What does this mean???

Please remember that the water in your dreams may be a statement about your emotions and the unconscious. Sharks could represent unpleasant emotions or difficult and painful materials coming up from the unconscious. You may feel some emotional upset, and the shark could be the symbol of the perceived emotional danger. Old dream interpretation books say that sharks may represent dishonest friends or reflect financial troubles
