You need to be a little more careful than usual since your reflexes are slower.
Also, you need to ALWAYS wear your seatbelt in the CORRECT position! (The lap belt UNDER the belly and the shouhlder belt flat across your chest passing between your breasts and over your shouhlder)
When you get close to the end of your pregnancy (like the last month) they say you shouldn't go on any long drives by yourself if you can avoid it, and if you ever start having contractions, don't keep on driving! Pull over as soon as it is safe to do so.

Yes - just make sure you wear that seatbealt. I had no choice but to drive all the way through my pregnancy. I even drove myself to the hospital, and I was driving again the day I got home. You'll be fine. In the event you have an accident, even a minor one, you need to go the doctor immediately, but chances of that aren't too high.

It is safe to drive. My widwife said so during my first pregnancy. Although my car did not have airbags which are a concern if they deploy. The force of the deployment can sometimes send a woman into labour. When we took his car, which has airbags, I used to sit in the back seat. When I sat in the front, I had the seat as far back as possible.

I am not qualified or experineced in this matter as its my first pregnancy and my husband drops me off to work to avoid any complications.

if you have an option i would say go for it, specially if you are in your later stage
What if you start contractions? Cant stop in the middle of the road.
Ask doctor he should be able to give you the right advice.

First baby by any chance?!?!?!?!?

Of course driving is ok through pregnancy unless midwife/gp advises you otherwise.

Make sure seatbelt is worn at all times correctly.

Good luck with pregnancy x

i drive very slowly and try to eliminate traffic. i mean you have your second pregnancy you can't stay without a car. the other kid needs to go to school and so on. i have heard no doctor telling me not to drive and i did ask my midwife. she said as long as you don't go driving like crazy that's fine. You will be fine, don't worry too much.

yes but it is wise to avoid doing so for the last 2 months - it could be dangerous if you suddenly had labour pains while driving.

yes it is, unless the doctor has advised you not to. Just try to be a more cautious driver-as well as more defensive. You have more than one person in the vehicle now.
