He's a punk, a show off, a "ME" guy. Not to mention an @$$hole. I hope he falls on his face. His ego will get in his way. He'll never fulfill his potential.

Not a realistic evaluation. Two different backs. L.T. can be an every down back, run inside, run outside, catch and run. He is better in traffic. Reggie, and I like Reggie, has almost always played in a wing or slot. He's not an everydown back. He's not the same type of blocker as L.T. At the end of thier respective careers, LT will edge Reggie out in TDs scored and overall yards gained. Unfortunately, neither will ever wear a Superbowl ring.

I like the earlier comment..."barring injuries and ego". Bo Jackson could have been the best barring injuries. Terrell Owens could have been the best barring ego.
I would hope that, seeing what TO has done, Bush will learn the ego part. Unfortunately the injury avoidance at that high a level cannot be learned, as it were...someone rolls up on your knee and nothing one can do about it other than lay on the field in pain afterward.
As for your original question...anything is possible. They seem similar in stature, but LT has the advantage of an offensive line that is second to none. Can't speak to the Saints line in the same way, but they play a huge role in any RB's potential.

He will not. He will never get the carries that LT will get. He is not a 25-30 carry guy. He will make plays and he will score touchdowns but I think he will be a Marshall Faulk type of player, a hybrid who is jsut as apt to catch the ball as run it. I think Marshall was a great RB but still not in the caliber of LT.
For the guy who compared him to Barry Sanders. Barry couldn't carry a team. If you look at Barry's running, he would have 2 or 3 runs a game for 30 yards but get stuffed at the line 10 to 15 times a game. A great RB always falls forward and gains positive yards. I would rather consistently get 5 yards a carry than have a guy break one every once in awhile yet consistently get stopped at the line.

no. i really like Reggie, and he will be very good. but LT is at another level, he'll be up there with Payton, Sanders, and Jim Brown when he's done. and LT has been extremely durable, something i don't think Bush can be over a 10 - 13 year career.

First off, as good a running back as Tomlinson is, any true fan of football know LT is and always will be Lawrence Taylor. Second, Bush will be no more than a return man and occasional trick play player. He does not have the size to play running back (before you even say it, he aint no Warrick Dunn).

I say baring injuries and ego, he could. These days it's so hard to tell whether or not someone will make it. Take a look at Mario Williams...worth the #1? HELL NO! In fact, DeMarco Ryans, his teammate had a WAY better year than he did.
I certainly think that Reggie has the tools and the talent....just hope that some @ss doesn't try to seriously injure him because they are out for revenge.

I don't know. Anything can happen. Right now few are better than LT in the history of the NFL now and he has only played 6 seasons with many more to come.

Not as a rusher, Bush is too small to be an excellent ball carrier in the NFL. Bush's primary threat in the NFL will be catching passes coming out of the backfield and then using his speed and moves for yards after catch

No, LT will go down as one of the best RB's ever. Reggie Bush isn't even the best RB on his team nor was he the best rookie RB last year. Maurice Jone-Drew and Joseph Addia outperformed him.
