I came off the pill a year ago after being on it for 2 years, had the withdrawal bleed, then didnt have a period for 9 months, theni got 2 periods, a month between eachother, then skipped a month, and got a period last week... What is up??? Will this effect my fertilty?

ok hunni, there is no need to worry. i know exactly what your going through cause im going through it now too! this is the effects of the pill. I came of the pill in october 2005 and have only had about 4 periods since! I didnt get my first one for about 7 months. Your body is recovering after the artificial hormones. This irregularity is normal as it off-loads the excess and gets back to its normal cycle. Talk to the gynaecologist you were seeing while on the pill, they know your history best and can give the best advice.

Your body has been used to artificial hormones. It takes a while to get back to normal. Just give it time, this is quite common. :-)
