Here is what is supposed to happen, the rich get richer and create more jobs for the poor. How ever what is happening is the rich get richer and then export jobs to get even richer. Yes they forgot to throw the poor man a bone and they are going to pay with a democratic administration. Not to mention the market crash when the exported wages don't get spent or invested (because of the lost wages at home.)

I think it is called trickle down economics, and not many are getting trickled on these days......

This is a real easy question, but you're not going to like the answer.

It has little, if anything, to do with "exploitation".

Rich people are rich for the same reason that poor people are poor. Some people make good financial decisions and good money management skills. Poor people are often poor because they make poor decisions in life.

If you took all of the money in the United States of America, put it in a pile and divided it equally among every adult in the country, it would not be a year before some folk would be rich again, and others would be poor.

You can no more blame the rich for this than you can blame the poor.

Because money buys influence and power. How else can you explain that presidential elections are pretty much determined by who has the most campaign contributions and runs out of money last?

Yes, it is sad - very sad. Think about the amount of people who own multimillion dollar homes. Think of celebrities with no real talent, no real reason why they should be remunerated for ANYTHING (K-Fed, Misha Barton, Rachel Bilson et al come to mind).

Personally, I think that people in the entertainment industry get paid WAY too much. I mean, what's up with someone getting paid millions to play in a movie or shoot some hoops?

Ain't that the truth? The rich set up the various systems for their benefit. Rich=powerful.
Greed and avarice.

because the current administration gives tax breaks to the wealthy. and then they don't do anything to help the poor better themselves. I dont agree with doing everything for them because if you feed the hungary then you will always feed them but if you teach them how to feed themselves then you will have made them better off
