I usually like the originals better too, but sometimes the covers just have such a nice style and sound to them, that i would have to say that i like both versions. =)

a million. For the most area, i do unlike them. and that i have heard covers that were outstanding, yet very few have exceeded the unique, in my opinion. i'd say that about ninety seven% of the time i love the unique extra appropriate. 2. i trust that a band can cover a fine looking music and nevertheless sound happy with it, yet all the covers I absolutely have heard of astounding songs in simple terms light a lot in evaluation. So, i imagine they're regularly tried, yet i imagine that it will be very confusing to make a reliable cover of a fine looking music. actually everyone will be comparing it to the unique. 3. I favor that they placed an entire new spin on it. I advise, if i go with to hearken to at least some thing that appears like the unique, i'd besides in simple terms pass pay interest to the unique. i go with to hearken to a diverse take on the music if i am going to pay interest to a cover. i go with to hearken to at least some thing new. i do no longer unavoidably imagine that it really is the in effortless words way it is going to probable be performed, yet i locate it appropriate...

First, the word is 'original' - o-r-i-g-i-n-a-l-s!
Cover versions are a hit and miss group of songs.
Some do not add anything to the original, some bands do the cover song in their style, and a few go beyond the limits of the original. For a good example of doing the song in their own style, see The Dickies cover of 'Nights in White Satin'.

Unchained Melody by the Righteous Brothers is actually a cover and far better than the original - the first version was by Al Hibbler in 1955.

Sinead O'Conner's version of Sacrifice was better.
Elton John had ruined his voice by the time he recorded it, but I think Sinead would have won hands down anyway.
Still, Elton & Bernie wrote it so I guess they don't feel too bad.
