how to talk ON stage...
take deep breaths and try to relax...
if they allow you to bring cue card... make cue cards that remind you of the topic NOT make you read out of the card...
If it's a reading speech remember that your audience are alive...
make a connection with them by occasionally keeping eye contact .
always remember that those who listen to you are not statues. They are human and at least 75% have been on stage one time or another so they understand how you feel.

Taking a course on public speaking helps.
There is always the trick of imagining everyone you are speaking to as naked, but I am not sure that would help ME if I had to speak on stage!

Very easy. Imagine a friend before you and talk to him. "He/she" will never interupt you. You are free to say whatever you wish to. You are the most valuable person there, you are invited to speak, and you know the subject best. Everyone who says that knows everything on the subject is pretending and it is not true. You have your own show and people love you!
