If you check-out the websites below, you will see that this has indeed happened:- 'Abigail "Abby" Loraine Hensel and Brittany Lee Hensel (born 7 March 1990, Carver County, Minnesota, United States), are dicephalic conjoined twins. Brittany is the left twin, and Abigail is the right twin. They have two spines which join at the pelvis. They have two stomachs, three lungs, and two arms. A third, underdeveloped and useless arm between their heads was amputated in infancy.' This maybe is not what you're thinking of when you say one body with 2 heads, ie., one set of all other human parts, but if you look at the website you will see that the appearance is the same. Just amazing. As to the second part of your question, the one body contains 2 hearts, but they share a circulatory system (medicine taken by either affects both), so this suggests to me that if one perished, the other probably would too.

They would survive. I f you think about it the head that hung itself still shared the same blood supply which would also be replenished buy the other heads airway. The head that hung itself if the supply was totally cut off of all blood would stop flowing to the brain thus die and the blood cells would die in get infected. In the long run they would both dies due to toxic shock
Anyhow the other head wouldnt allow this as they control the arms so it would be a very close punch up

Well I suppose that person would basically be siamese twins sharing everything but their heads. It depends:
If the one that hanged themself did it in a remote place, or no one found it, then the other one would die of hunger.
If they were to be found though, I'd say the other one would definetly die because it was sharing all it organs with the other one, and if his organ's shut down, then surely so would the other's...oh God, this is confusing me.
Wow, I've read that link from that answer about the Hensel's...that's incredible.

I don't think the two headed persons (or exactly two persons with one body) can stay alive a long time, especially the hospitals work to make it one head.
But if there was and they had seperated necks (a neck for each head) no matter if one head hungs its self because the organs will take orders from the other head and won't die.
But it will be very hard dor two people to share the same bodies, specially if one of them likes football and the other likes cars!

Dicephalic siamese twins are rare, and although with advances in medicine more of them are surviving birth but typically live only a short period of time. Abby and Brittany Hensel are classified as dicephalic, although they have two hearts, three kidneys, and three lungs. The Tocci brothers who lived in the 1800's often toured as sideshow freaks and had a third arm. A two headed child was recently born in China and at last report still surviving, another in Brazil and yet a third in India eventually died. Dichalism can occur in virtually any animal and Todd Ray currently has the world's largest collection of two headed animals, which can be seen at Coney Island. He has 22 two headed animals, including an albino two headed snake. Several examples of dicephalic humans with parasitic and not fully developed heads have been documented.

You need to stay alive. I am in the exact same position as you right now. I am 14, and I weigh over 200 pounds. Every day, my older brother and I get in a fight after school, and it is so mentally tiring. But, just think. Everybody has a purpose on this earth. If you know for a fact that you aren't going to go far in life, you can have kids, and those kids can turn into great people who would always look up to you and be grateful to have you in their lives. If you do not want to go down that path, then think of this. So many people die from so many things: cancer, heart attack, stroke, and even just of old age. So many of those people wanted to live, but are no longer here with us. So, you can live for them. You don't even have to know any of the people who have passed. Just know that they wanted to go far in life , so you can do it for them.

If one head of a two headed person hung themselves, yes, I believe both would die. In the case of conjoined twins, often one is stronger than the other, and many times medicine is give to the "healthier" child for the "unhealthy" one.
Chang & Ang the most famous conjoined twins (of barnum-bailey fame) died within minutes of each other and they only had a small flap of skin connecting them.

There is a case of young twin girls who do share a body. They do not see themselves as a two headed person but rather as two people that are joined in such a way that they share their body. They are emotionally well developed and intelligent. Here is the Wiki article about them. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abigail_and_Brittany_Hensel

In mythology or folklore anything is possible. In real life, we have had Siamese twins. However I have never heard of a case where one of the twins killed themselves and the other still lived. Since they often share organs such as heart and lungs, they would have to die together.
